Permission to Dream/A-MAN

Griffith Observatory Trip

October 28, 2001

In late October, Permission to Dream partnered with the A-MAN Center to bring a group of Inglewood-area kids and their parents to Griffith Observatory.  The group was one of the last to look through Griffith's telescope before it closed for three years of renevation.

"Hey, I see a crater!"
George Whitesides watches two young learners look through a pair of binoculars.

Permission to Dream astronomy advisor Joe McMan watches over this young man as he experiments with the telescope.
