A-MAN International Science Discovery Center

Permission to Dream visited the headquarters of the A-MAN International Science Discovery Center in Inglewood, California.  A-MAN is a renowned educational center focused on developing academic and leadership potential in African-American children.  During the PTD visit, team members John Wright, Lena Banks, and George Whitesides demonstrated the use of a brand new Meade tracking telescope and tripod, which they then formally donated to the A-MAN center.  Permission to Dream and A-MAN have now established a formal partnership agreement, in which the two nonprofit organizations pledge to mutually assist each other, as they work on their shared goal of inspiring the next generation of explorers.
